Social game developer, Zynga, has entered in a multi-year agreement with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment to develop a range of products based on the film.

The team set to develop the popular film is the same team behind the huge success of the recently launched Wizard of Oz and Hit it Rich! These two ranked in the top 10 grossing casino games on the Apple app store.

The film, which was based on the classic children’s book written by Roald Dahl, is set in the playfully imaginative and whimsical world of Willy Wonka, the candy manufacturer.

Willy Wonka will tour kids in his chocolate factory if they find a golden ticket inside any Willy Wonka chocolate they have bought.

The story line is perfect for slots. So the first item on Zynga’s list is to bring Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory to life in a social slots game.

Chief Designer for Zynga’s social slots, Joe Kaminkow said it will be a free-to-play slots game that will excite players and make them feel like they have won the golden ticket.
